Priority Life Care Residents & Staff Included as FIRST Priority for COVID-19 Vaccine – LEARN MORE
Seaside Manor is an assisted living and memory care community located in Ormond Beach, Florida. Choose a room overlooking the ocean! Just two miles north of the Granada Bridge, we are just past St. Brendan’s Catholic Church on the left. Our community is also near several parks, churches, shopping centers, restaurants, and grocery stores.
Residents and families enjoy several of the parks and beach-access walkways nearby. Seaside Manor is also close to the beautiful Halifax River, where residents love to walk and ride bicycles in the surrounding neighborhoods. The Casements, which was John D. Rockefeller’s winter home; the Ormond Memorial Gardens; and a beautiful riverfront park are also nearby.
Many Seaside Manor apartments and common areas have beautiful, relaxing ocean views. Our residents enjoy a lovely ocean breeze, whether it is through their apartment window or on our spacious patio. Our community is an affordable senior living option.
Apartments can be private or semi-private. We accept private pay, veterans’ Aid and Attendance, Medicaid Waiver and long-term care insurance.
Life Enrichment Programming
The Seaside Manor Life Enrichment program boasts many activities and local outings that give our residents a purpose every day. We incorporate daily spiritual, social, physical, and intellectual activities to give each of our residents a fulfilling day. Our activities director spends time getting to know residents. She meets with new residents to find out what their interests are and what they enjoy doing most. Monthly events may vary based on residents’ interests and participation.
Regularly scheduled activities may include picnics at beachfront parks, billiards, darts, tea parties, and themed events. Seaside Manor also offers educational speakers on various health topics for our residents and families. For example, we’ve hosted a cardio-thoracic surgeon and registered nurse for a heart health talk and presentation.
Our favorite activities are when residents share their talents with others. One of our seniors is a reverend who leads Bible studies. He also plays guitar and often performs with other residents. Another resident, who is a photographer, shares photos from his extensive world travels.
Programming at Seaside Manor keeps us vibrant and in touch with our surrounding community. You’ll find our spirited program inspires residents to lead fulfilling and active lives.
Dining Program
Join us for three meals a day, plus snacks! The dining experience is a great way to meet with friends and enjoy our friendly staff. Each meal is home-cooked and served restaurant-style in our dining room. We offer two main choices as well as an alternate menu. Meals change every day, and we are very accommodating to individual tastes, preferences, and food allergies.

Assisted Living
At Seaside Manor, our focus is supporting our residents’ independence and overall wellness.
The care that each resident receives at Seaside Manor is unique to his or her needs. Each resident’s activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, bathing, and hygiene, are assessed upon move-in and regularly throughout their stay. We work with the resident, family members, and health practitioners to create the right plan of care for each person.
Care-related services include, but are not limited to:

Memory Care Neighborhood
Memory Care refers to specific care for a person with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or another memory impairment. Specialized care may range from cueing to requiring a secured setting to prevent elopement.
Starting with the same care and services as assisted living, our memory care program builds on the resident’s current abilities. We incorporate daily structure, fitness, and physical and occupational therapy to help residents complete a daily routine and maintain functional abilities as long as possible.
Our primary goal is safety for all residents. Consistent staffing helps residents feel comfortable and confident during their care. Through our dementia-specific trained employees, we are able to deliver quality care to our memory care neighborhoods.
At Seaside Manor, we use activities to help reduce residents’ agitation, improve their moods, and encourage social interaction. Popular activities include morning coffee and news, listening to music, spiritual programs, ice cream socials, and puzzles. One-on-one sensory activities may also be used to help residents relax and sleep at night.

Short-Term Respite Care
Residents in short-term respite care receive all of the amenities and care in our assisted living or memory care options, but for a shorter, predetermined length of stay. Respite care is for loved ones who may need a little help after a hospital or rehab stay, or when caregivers plan a family vacation or just need some time to relax and recharge. We are here for you. Call and ask us about our respite care package.
